The Mahopac Street Festival and Merchant Showcase was organized in 2003 by the then-Chamber of Commerce of the Mahopacs to celebrate the opening of the Chamber Park. The Street Festival showcased member businesses in an outdoor setting amid entertainment for the entire family. Two years later the Chamber partnered with the Italian American Club of Mahopac to integrate the Putnam County Columbus Day parade into the day’s festivities.

The 10th Annual Street Fair will be bigger and better than ever. The tradition continues, bringing businesses and families together to enjoy a day of fun, games and attractions. Exhibit booths abound with displays of everything from trinkets to major appliances. There will be games and rides for the children, two bands and a DJ, a car show featuring both classic and new cars, and food from a variety of our local restaurants and delis.
